Unico, Inc., to Provide Micromatik GmbH Service in
North and South America

Effective June 1, 2004, Unico, Inc., Franksville, Wisconsin, will provide service for all Micromatik GmbH products and systems in North and South America. For the past 11 years, Macromatic, Inc., of Racine, Wisconsin, has provided this service.

On June 1, 2004, Richard Gobeli and Rick Johnson of Macromatic became employees of Unico, Inc. Richard and Rick will continue to support customers in this region as well as train Unico personnel on Micromatik hardware and software to enhance the capabilities of the organization to support Micromatik products. Unico, Inc., acquired Micromatik GmbH of Germany in August 2001.

Customers requiring service or support should call Unico at 262.886.5678 and ask to be connected to Micromatik product support. Service manager Henry Moss, who oversees these functions, can be reached at 262.504.7784. Other contacts include Nick Campolo, Matt Tabor, and Rick Johnson. Henry and his people provide phone support and field service on a 24-hour basis.

Unico has 37 years’ experience manufacturing drives and drive systems for demanding applications, primarily in the automotive, steel, paper, corrugated, petroleum, water, test stand, crane and hoist, HVAC, and elevator industries. With Micromatik’s 24 years’ experience in paper finishing, corrugating, and metal processing, the company has expanded the geographical support for its existing customer base while paving the way for new market development.
